I loved this book. It was so interesting and felt that it could happen to anyone. I was engaged until the very end to find out what happened. Our book club read this book and everyone loved it which is rare. The writing was good and the procedures very interesting. Overall, an excellent book that I highly recommend.

I could not put it down. It’s full of twist and turns that you are not expecting. Just when you think it’s going in one direction it takes a sharp turn. Kate is a strong will woman with a kind heart. Looking forward to reading Kathryn Hills next Novel.

Enjoyed reading Express Malice! Kept me interested and also guessing until the end!

I had the pleasure of obtaining this book a week ago & I sat down & began to read. I was ill when I realized I had to stop & fix supper!! It kept me on the edge of the sofa with each page keeping me in suspense of what was going to happen next!! It’s sad to realize that the words on the page actually happen each day & we live in our little piece of this world without any exposure & without the ability to assist those in danger. Sometimes when I read a book I can figure out the ending before I get to the final chapter. This book kept me dangling from a thread until the final few pages. A sequel would keep me sprawled on the sofa again to see how Judge Kate Wood would seek to get justice for the parties involved.

Once I started reading I couldn’t put it down. The characters were very well thought out and introduced appropriately throughout the book. Story line keep you thinking. Can’t wait until her next book.

This book was excellent. I truly felt for all the characters and could picture each one vividly in my mind. This book is dark and twisted, but it also contains aspects of finding joy and moving on during difficult times. An amazing plot and ending!

This book was an enjoyable read. The author described the characters in such a way, you felt like you knew them. The book had a lot of turns and twists and evoked a lot of emotion with the characters. You liked some, hated some and felt horrible for some. I took this book with me on vacation because I usually take books I don’t mind putting down and picking up when there is a lull in my trip. This book kept my attention and it was hard to put down, kept me up several nights to finish. Look forward to this authors next book!

Express Malice was a very enjoyable and easy read that kept my interest through out the entire book. Not being an avid reader I found myself having a hard time trying to put the book down as each page got better and better, and the ending was real surprise. I highly recommend this book for anyone looking for a good story that will hold their interest.

Kathryn provided important exposure to a topic not often discussed while keeping the reader very connected to the lives involved. I thoroughly enjoyed the book.

From the first page to the last word Hill weaves a plot complete with engaging characters and details that keep you eager for more. Quickly turning pages for fear you will miss something, the words just draw you deeper into the lives of those around Judge Kate Wood. Didn’t see the resolution coming until the last few pages. Truly an amazing read. Can’t wait to see what Hill comes out with next.

The characters stayed with me for day – a sign of a well written book!

This is one of the best books I have read during the quarantine! I will be recommending that my neighborhood book club selects this book for discussion, when we are able to finally meet again! Being familiar with the setting in the Atlanta and Gwinnett County areas, made this especially interesting for me, but anyone would enjoy the exciting events and dangerous situations portrayed in an intelligent, well-written style. I can easily imagine, as would most readers, that this book would play well as a movie or television series!

I really enjoyed Express Malice and think we should add that to our next book club reading list.

What a great read! With well developed characters, Hill takes us on a fast-paced adventure into the criminal world through the eyes of Judge Kate Wood. When Kate’s sister and her shady husband are murdered, she suddenly becomes ward of her teen-aged nephew, Jeremy, who deals with his own stunned grief and awkwardness. With the help of a special police officer and a handicapped and brilliant neighbor, Kate, and a reluctant Jeremy, must research clues and risk peril to find the killer(s). This book will hook you from the beginning and surprise you at the end. Highly recommended!

I am not an avid reader and few books hold my attention beyond chapter 2. Express Malice kept me on the edge through the entire thriller. I am looking forward to the movie and sequel that I expect to see in the near future. I find myself imagining how certain characters journey will continue from here.

Great Read !!!! Express Malice by K.Hill was a great read. I did not want to put the book down, just when I thought I had the story figured out a new twist would unfold. The writer had a way of pulling me right into the story. This book should be in the Oprah book club. I cannot wait to see what K.Hill will write next.

A real page turner. This story is one you cannot wait to see what will happen next! I look forward to another book from this author. A great gift for anyone who likes a mystery.

Once I started, I just couldn’t put this book down. The style, the detail of Atlanta – every page turned begs for another! I am a great fan of Kathryn Hill’s writing already. I was so involved in this book that when I had to put it down, I could not think about anything else but when I could back to reading it. I do a lot of reading and I would have to say that she is up there with the best. I cannot wait until her next book is out.
